"The Grappa"

This home is located on the Boise River with beautiful views and abundant wildlife  The room was small with white walls and very limited light (scroll down for before pictures).  This room is often the first room Guests see, they call the room 'The Grappa Room' (the interesting chest you see on the right, opens up into a full bar) after their favorite grape liquor.

Dona Walters, the designer, envisioned  this mural to have warmth, light, and a lot of conversation .  The entire room is in the Trompe L'oeil tradition. The scene is just up river, and the walls simulate leather and walnut paneling.
